Hey Barracudas!!

We are so excited for County this weekend and our snack party tomorrow!! Here are all of the final details about County including arrival/warm up times, drop off/pick up procedures, clear bag policy, and more. Please read below if you are attending County! 

County Parent Drop Off: Please see the arrival/warm up times below for each age group for county. Coaches will meet the 10 and unders inside of the double doors by the railing on the right side in Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. This is a change from last year, as it gets really crowded outside. All 11 and up swimmers can meet the coaches on deck. If you are going to be late, please text the coaches and let us know, so we are not worried about you.

After Events Pick Up: We will walk all 10 and unders up the back stairs to meet their parents at the far end of the upper hallway at GA Tech once they are done with their events. If your child is only swimming in a relay or two, we will bring all of the relay only kids up together after they are done with both relays. 11 ups will be directed to the same stairs in groups or with coaches as needed. Please note that you cannot get on the deck as a parent unless you are volunteering. Text/call us if you need anything.

County Timeline:

Friday July 10th, 2026

Session 1 (Ages 15 -18)

• Arrive: 3:30pm (meet on the pool deck)
• Warmup A: 4:00pm-4:25pm (Lane 7 Scoreboard Pool)
• Start time: 5:30pm session concluded at approx. 8:20PM

Saturday July 11th, 2026

Session 2 (Ages 9 & 10)

• Arrive: 7:30am**Coaches will meet swimmers inside the double doors to the pool and walk swimmers down to the pool deck at 7:35am.
• Warmup A: 8:00-8:20am (Lane 0 Main Pool)
• Start Time: 9:15am session concludes at approx. 12:30pm
• This session will begin with an honorary heat swim by invited swimmers with disabilities.

Session 3 (Ages 13-14)

• Arrive: 1:30pm (meet on the pool deck)
• Warmup C: 2:20-2:45pm (Lane 2 Scoreboard Pool)
• Starting Time: 3:15PM session concludes at approx. 6:15PM

Sunday July 12th, 2026

Session 4 (Ages 8 & Under)

• Arrive: 7:30am**Coaches will meet swimmers inside the double doors to the pool and walk swimmers down to the pool deck at 7:35am.
• Warmup A: 8:00-8:20am (Lane 1 Scoreboard Pool)
• Start Time: 9:15AM session concludes at approx. 12:30pm

Session 5 (Ages 11-12)

• Arrive: 1:25pm (meet on the pool deck)
• Warmup B: 1:55-2:20pm (Lane 7 Scoreboard Pool)
• Start Time: 3:15pm session concludes at approx. 6:30PM

You should have received an email from the county swim board with more information and links for items such as: Lucky Ducks, Safe Sport Waivers for Volunteers, Action Photography, and Parking. Please visit the county website for more information. 

Lastly, there is going to be a clear bag policy in effect at Georgia Tech for all spectators. Swimmers will NOT need to comply with this. For more details, please check out the GA Tech website.
