Dear Barracuda Families, 

We are so excited to kick of the season in just under two weeks!! Here are a few important reminders for you! 

1. Registration: Today is the last day to register and receive a t-shirt and cap! Please remind your friends to sign up if they have not already!!

2. After School Practices: Our after school practices begin Monday, May 12th. These practices are for all swimmers who are able to swim at least one lap of the pool unassisted. If your child needs coaches in the water with them, they will begin practice on Tuesday, May 27th! This will give the water time to warm up and make their first days of swim more enjoyable! If you have questions about what is best for your swimmer, feel free to reach out to Coach Kailyn! 

*Swimmers must be able to swim unassisted.

3. Junior Coaches: We will be continuing our junior coaching program this year! All swimmers who are 12 and older and are interested in volunteering as a junior coach during our 8 and under practices can sign up here! 

4. Coaching Staff: We are excited to announce our 2025 coaching staff! Coach Kailyn & Coach Amanda will be returning as head coaches! Coach Elsie, Coach Connor, and Coach Cody will be our assistant coaches! We will also have many returning and new junior coaches joining us this summer! 

5. Officials: We need parent volunteers to participate in training to be deck officials. This job is super important as we want swimmers to learn to swim the correct way! You will get the best view at the meets and free meals when you volunteer at home meets! If you are interested, please complete the attached training. It will take about 40 minutes.
