Hey Barracuda Families!!

We had an amazing potluck this morning and are so excited for the weekend!! Thank you to everyone who brought food and helped serve this morning! All county information is below, so you don't have to look back through old emails!  Also see the attached team pics from this am!! 

1. Drop Off: Please see the arrival/warm up times below for each age group for county. Coaches will meet the 10 and unders outside of the double doors at Georgia Tech Aquatic Center. All 11 and up swimmers can meet the coaches on deck. Look for the Barracuda sign. If you are going to be late, please text the coaches and let us know, so we are not worried about you.

2. Pick Up: For all 10 and unders, we will walk the kids up the back stairs and meet you at the far end of the upper hallway at GA tech to pick up your child after they are done with their events. If your child is only swimming in a relay or two, we will bring all of the relay only kids up together after they are done with both relays. For 11 ups, we will make sure they get to the same stairs and then they will go up in groups or with coaches as needed. Please note that you cannot get on the deck as a parent unless you are volunteering. Text/call us if you need anything. 

3. Bring: Make sure your child has their fastest race suit and goggles. We will have new county caps for them at the meet. They may also want to bring a few extra towels or a yoga mat so they have something to sit on. Please also provide them with a few healthy snacks and drinks (both a water and a Gatorade recommended).

Friday July 12th, 2024

Session 1 (Ages 15 -18)

• Arrive: 3:30pm (meet on the pool deck)
• Warmup A: 4:00pm-4:30pm (Lane 5 Scoreboard Pool)
• Start time: 5:30pm session concluded at approx. 8:20PM

Saturday July 13th, 2024

Session 2 (Ages 9 & 10)

• Arrive: 7:55am**Coaches will meet swimmers outside the double doors to the pool and walk swimmers down to the pool deck at 8:00am.
• Warmup B: 8:25-8:50am (Lane 7 Main Pool)
• Start Time: 9:15am session concludes at approx. 12:30pm
• This session will begin with an "honorary heat" swum by invited swimmers with disabilities.

Session 3 (Ages 13-14)

• Arrive: 1:00pm (meet on the pool deck)
• Warmup A: 1:30-2:00pm (Lane 4 Scoreboard Pool)
• Starting Time: 3:15PM session concludes at approx. 6:15PM

Sunday July 14th, 2024

Session 4 (Ages 8 & Under)

• Arrive: 7:50am**Coaches will meet swimmers outside the double doors to the pool and walk swimmers down to the pool deck at 8:00am.
• Warmup B: 8:20-8:40am (Lane 6 Main Pool)
• Start Time: 9:15AM session concludes at approx. 12:30pm

Session 5 (Ages 11-12)

• Arrive: 1:45pm (meet on the pool deck)
• Warmup C: 2:30-3:00pm (Lane 7 Scoreboard Pool)
• Start Time: 3:15pm session concludes at approx. 6:30PM
