Hey Barracuda Families!!

We had an amazing first week of practice, and we are so excited for what the season will bring!! Here is our week at a glance, and a few important reminders! Please see the action item before the Mock Meet! 

This week we will practice Monday & Tuesday same times as last week (4:30-5:15 for 10 and unders / 5:15-6:15 for 11 and up). 

On Wednesday, we will have our team picture at 5:30pm. Please arrive no later than 5:15pm, so we can line the team up. Swimmers will wear their team shirt for the picture. If you are interested in taking/purchasing individuals, please click this link and fill out the attached form. Please bring ALL swimmers who will be on the team this summer! (Even the littles who haven't started practice yet.) We will not have practice on Wednesday. 

Thursday will be our Mock Meet. Please arrive by 5:00pm. We will warm up at 5:15pm and start the meet by 6:00pm. It is extremely important to our coaches that we have as many swimmer attend as possible, so that we can get accurate times to seed our first meet with. ACTION REQUIRED ASAP: For each meet, you will need to sign your swimmer up to participate. As we go through the season, if your swimmer is not signed up, they will not be entered in the meet. Please go to the events page of our team site and click the green "Meet Entry" button. You will be able to select what strokes your swimmer would like to try for this meet. The coaches would like all swimmers who are 9 and up to TRY all 4 strokes (backstroke, freestyle, breaststroke, and butterfly). This is just a practice for us to see what the kids can do, and what we need to focus on at practice!

A few other items: 

Team Caps and T-Shirts:

Team caps were handed out last week. Please pick them up at practice or the mock meet! Team t-shirts are in and will be handed out starting at practice today at 5:15. Swimmers will need these for the team picture on Wednesday and to wear to each meet! 

Stroke and Turn Judges Needed:

We are still in need of more stroke and turn judges for the season. If you are interested, please use the link to get certified as soon as possible. It will take less than two hours and can be done at your own pace, but preferably before Thursday so you can practice!
